If you bought or are planning to buy the just-released "Beavis and Hutt-Head" DVD boxed set, be aware of something I wasn't: apparently many of these episodes, advertised as "director's cuts", are actually SHORTENED from their original content. I'm not sure why anyone would do this to their creation, but from what I've read on the customer reviews on www.amazon.com/dvd/ for this product, it's been cut.
When I have time off from writing and softball, I will compare some of this set's episodes with the other copies I have (from the older Time-Life boxed sets) and determine the truth of this. I have a bad feeling it's true, though, as many of the episodes in the new set are under 5 minutes!
