Major League Baseball has done something I never expected it to do this year: recapture my interest. What I mean here is that now, at the halfway point of the season, there are more than a dozen teams in contention. This is new, it's different, it's refreshing - and it doesn't just grab my interest, it holds it. It's always nice to see new teams (as opposed to the same old ones) fighting for championships.
