The other night, Tuesday 5/18/04, I got a call at 5 pm. A friend of mine wasn't going to be able to use her two dugout-level tickets to the 7 pm baseball game that night and asked if I wanted them. I was tired, and the sky was cloudy, and my girlfriend couldn't go, so I declined.
Well, it was a Braves game, and Randy Johnson was pitching for the visiting Diamondbacks, and he threw a perfect game that night. And I wasn't there. I'm highly disappointed - things like this are all I watch the game for anymore. I'd rather see a perfect game than see the Braves go to the playoffs. It's just the way I am. Unfortunately, I missed my once-in-a-lifetime chance.
